Privacy
Plain-language placeholder privacy notice for a free, play-money social game. Last updated October 2026.
What we store
- Account: your handle and display name; if you sign in with X, your X user id and profile picture URL. If you use a handle + secret, only a salted hash of the secret is stored.
- Email: the recovery email you give us, used only to confirm it and to send password-reset links. It is never shown to other players, shared or used for marketing. Reset links are single-use, expire after 45 minutes, and are stored only as a hash.
- Game data: your play-chip ledger (signup bonus, daily bonus, buy-ins, rebuys, payouts), tournament results and hand logs.
- Session: a signed session cookie that keeps you logged in, plus a short-lived cookie used during X sign-in.
- Server logs: standard hosting logs (such as IP address and request times) kept by our hosting provider for operations and abuse prevention.
What we don't do
- No payments or card details — the game is free.
- No advertising trackers or selling of data.
- We never post to X on your behalf; sharing a result is always your own action.
What other players see
Your handle, display name, avatar, chip stacks, actions at the table and tournament finishes are visible to other players.
Retention & deletion
Data is kept while the game runs. The chip ledger is append-only for fairness, but you can ask for your account to be deleted or anonymised; contact details will be added here before X sign-in goes live.
Changes
This notice may be updated as the game evolves; the date above will change when it is.
