Terms of play
Plain-language placeholder terms for a free, play-money social game. Last updated October 2026.
1. What this is
Hold'em Turbo is a free social poker game for entertainment. It is a small independent project, not a casino, and it is not affiliated with X Corp.
2. Play money only
All chips are virtual play money. They have no cash value and can never be cashed out, redeemed, sold, transferred to other players, or exchanged for money, prizes or anything of value. Tournament payouts are play chips only. Chips can't be bought.
3. Who can play
You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live). You're responsible for making sure playing is allowed where you are.
4. Your account
One account per person. Keep your sign-in secure. Don't use bots, collude with other players, share hands in progress, or exploit bugs. We may reset balances, remove chips obtained through bugs or abuse, or suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Free chips
New accounts receive a signup bonus, and each account can claim a free daily bonus once per cooldown period. Amounts and timing may change.
6. No guarantees
The game is provided “as is”, free of charge, without warranties. It may be changed, interrupted, reset or shut down at any time. If a tournament is interrupted (for example by a server restart), buy-ins and rebuys are refunded in play chips.
7. Behaviour
Be decent at the table. Handles, display names and anything you post must follow X's rules and the law.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as the game evolves; the date above will change when they do. Continuing to play means you accept the current version.
